In a statement released earlier today, Yemen’s Houthi militant group claimed to have launched a series of drone attacks targeting Israeli territory.
According to their claims, four drones were deployed, with two targeting a military site near Tel Aviv, one aiming for a vital location near Ashkelon, and the fourth targeting an area near Tel Aviv.
However, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have issued a statement denying any indication of drones reaching Israel from Yemen. Furthermore, there have been no reports of impacts or damage.
In a separate claim, the Houthis alleged that they attacked the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman in the Red Sea using missiles and drones. The validity of these claims has not been verified.
The Houthi militant group has been involved in a long-standing conflict in Yemen, and their claims of attacks on Israel and the US are a reminder of the ongoing tensions in the region.
