Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is under fire online after bragging about her luxury birthday gifts — then shading her own mother, Kris Jenner, who gave them to her.
The 45-year-old entrepreneur took to TikTok to show off her two designer Hermès bags, worth a combined $230,000, which she received for her birthday while in Paris.
In the video, Kim unboxed a red crocodile Hermès Birkin bag from 2001 designed by Jean Paul Gaultier — estimated to be worth between $150K and $200K — and a Hermès Kelly Cut clutch valued at $30K according to Daily Mail.
But fans quickly noticed that instead of expressing gratitude, Kim appeared annoyed as she narrated how her mother first gifted the rare Birkin to Kylie Jenner, claiming it was the same one she had been eyeing for herself.
“[Kris] ends up getting one for Kylie for her birthday before mine — one that I had on hold that I forgot to respond to. Gave away my swag and then acted like she never heard of it before,” Kim complained in the clip.
Social media users were not impressed.
“She’s literally shading her mom while showing off a $200K gift. How tone-deaf can you be?” one critic wrote.
Another added, “Imagine getting a Birkin and still finding a way to be mad about it. Some people are struggling to eat.”
This isn’t the first time Kim has complained about the bag — she previously revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she “rage-texted” Kris when Kylie got the rare piece first.
Kim celebrated her 45th birthday at Crazy Horse Paris, wearing a gold and white Givenchy minidress from the 1997 haute couture collection “Search for the Golden Fleece.”
