Early intelligence assessments suggest the US military’s strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not cripple Tehran’s nuclear capabilities.
Instead, the strikes may have only delayed the program by a few months, according to a classified analysis by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Pentagon’s own intelligence branch.
The findings, described by four individuals briefed on the report, are based on post-strike battle damage assessments conducted by US Central Command.
While the assessment remains preliminary and could evolve as new intelligence is gathered, its current conclusions stand in stark contrast to the administration’s public narrative. – CNN
