Kannywood Actress Suspended Over Indecent Dressing and Provocative Content

The Kano State Censorship Board has announced a one-year suspension of popular Kannywood actress, Samha M. Inuwa, over allegations of indecent dressing and provocative content in her videos.

The board’s decision follows numerous complaints from the public regarding Inuwa’s “crude dressing, vulgar displays, and inappropriate language” in some of her videos.

Despite repeated warnings, Inuwa failed to comply with the board’s regulations, leading to the suspension.

As part of the disciplinary actions, the board has revoked Inuwa’s status and halted the censorship of any film featuring her.

This means that Inuwa will not be allowed to participate in any film or video production for the duration of her suspension.

The board emphasized that it is legally mandated to ensure all creative works align with the state’s religious, cultural, and moral values.
