Former Chelsea defender, David Luiz, allegedly sent chilling threats to a glam social worker after she rejected his request for a threesome.
A court in Brazil issued a restraining order against the Champions League winner to help protect 26-year-old Francisca Karollainy Barbosa Cavalcante.
Luiz, 38, denies ever making any threats towards Miss Cavalcante and denies meeting her, but has admitted to messaging her on Instagram.
Miss Cavalcante told police she had received threatening messages on Instagram shortly after her alleged affair with Luiz ended.
She claimed to have rejected an invitation from him to take part in a threesome, which led to a heated dispute.
Luiz, who also played for Arsenal for two seasons, is currently engaged to long-time girlfriend Bruna Loureiro.
The Brazil international is accused of warning Miss Cavalcante about his “money and power”.
Screenshots allegedly sent by Mr Luiz also show one message warning her that her son could “pay the consequences”.
A third threat is alleged to have stated: “I can simply make you disappear.”
Miss Cavalcante also said Luiz offered her £14,000 after she came forward with the allegations.
She claims he told her to disappear from his life but she refused the cash.
He then repeated his threats and told her she would not live long, according to the police report.
Miss Cavalcante shared the screenshots with Brazilian cops.
She claimed the messages made her feel as though her life and her son’s was being directly threatened.
After she went public with her claims, Miss Cavalcante says she felt as though as she was being watched and forced to change hotels several times.
The social worker first met Mr Luiz after he contacted her online and invited her to stay in a hotel in Fortaleza, the capital of the state of Ceara in north-eastern Brazil, local media reports.
Her lawyer, Fabiano Tavora, claims the hotels would often cost up to £140-per-night and were all paid for by the footballer.
Less than 24 hours after the police report was filed, a restraining order was issued to protect Miss Cavalcante.
Luiz, who now plays for Cypriot side Pafos, has since denied ever meeting Miss Cavalcante.
He admitted to messaging her on Instagram but said he never sent any threats.
He released a statement saying: “I never threatened anyone, I never threatened this person, I was never with this person physically, I was never at the hotel they say I was at.”
His communications team added that legal measures are now underway.
Luiz is best known for his multiple stints playing in the Premier League for Chelsea and Arsenal. Between 2011 to 2015 he won the Champions League, Europa League and an FA Cup during his initial run in England.
