Drew Garnier, 33, admitted to fatally stabbing his pregnant wife and attacking their two young daughters in a horrific gender-driven attack, prosecutors say.
Samantha Garnier, 29 (five months pregnant), and her two daughters, Adelina, 9, and Izzie, 6.
Drew Garnier was enraged that his wife was expecting another girl instead of a son.
– The brutal attack occurred on September 4, 2023, at the family’s home in Masonville, New York.
Samantha and her unborn baby died; the two girls survived with severe injuries.
Garnier pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and two counts of first-degree assault, avoiding a trial to
protect his surviving daughters from further trauma.

Garnier is banned from contacting his daughters until 2056—unless they choose to reach out.
